Privacy Policy
We publish a separate policy for each product. Both tools are read-only: they never ask for private keys, seed phrases or exchange credentials, and they cannot trade, withdraw, deposit or transfer funds.
PerpWatch: Hyperliquid Tracker
PerpWatch ("we", "our", or "the App") is an independent, third-party read-only analytics tool for the Hyperliquid ecosystem. This policy explains what data is handled when you use the App. If you have any questions, contact us at [email protected].
1. Summary
PerpWatch is a read-only tracker. It requires no account, no sign-up, no email address, and no KYC. It never asks for your private key, seed phrase, or exchange credentials, and it cannot trade, withdraw, deposit, or transfer funds. We do not operate servers that profile your personal activity: the App reads public blockchain and market data directly from Hyperliquid's public API endpoints and displays it on your device. To deliver optional push notifications, a minimal backend notification service (described in Section 5) stores only the configuration needed to send those notifications.
2. Data we do not collect
- No account information: there is no registration, login, or profile.
- No wallet secrets: the App never requests or stores private keys, seed phrases, passwords, or API secrets. Only a public wallet address (a string starting with 0x) is stored, which is public blockchain information.
- No contacts, photos, microphone, camera, location, calendar, or health data.
- No advertising identifiers, and no advertising SDKs are bundled.
- We do not sell, rent, or share any personal data with third parties.
3. Data stored locally on your device
The following items are saved only on your own device using local storage (AsyncStorage) so that the App works offline and remembers your preferences. They are never uploaded to us or to any server, and they are deleted when you uninstall the App or clear the App's cache:
- Tracked wallet addresses you add
- Watchlist entries and favorite tokens
- App preferences: display language, network selection (Mainnet / Testnet), cached market and chart data
4. Data processed automatically when requesting market data
To display prices, positions, fills, order books, charts and leaderboard data, the App sends HTTPS and WebSocket requests directly to Hyperliquid's public API endpoints (for example api.hyperliquid.xyz for Mainnet and the corresponding testnet endpoint). These requests necessarily contain technical information such as your IP address, device and OS version, App version and request timestamps. This technical information is processed by Hyperliquid and its infrastructure providers in order to return the requested public data. We do not receive, store, or analyze it ourselves. Because the App queries public wallet data, the wallet addresses you view may be visible in network logs on the public API side, exactly as they would be when you view the same addresses on a block explorer or any other market data site.
5. Third-party services
- Hyperliquid public API (REST and WebSocket): used to fetch real-time prices, order books, candles, wallet balances, positions, fills and a public leaderboard. Requests carry technical data such as IP address and device/App version, processed by Hyperliquid and its infrastructure providers; we do not receive, store, or analyze it.
- Push notifications (optional): if you enable price or wallet-activity alerts, the App registers with our backend notification service and uploads the alert configuration required to deliver them. This includes a device install identifier, your Expo push token, language and time-zone offset, subscription tier, and your alert rules — which may contain the public 0x wallet addresses you choose to track and the price thresholds you set. This is stored solely to monitor the relevant on-chain activity and push a notification when a rule triggers; it is never used for advertising, analytics, or any other purpose. Turn notifications off in the App to delete your device record from our server. Notification content is delivered through Expo's push service and Google FCM / Apple APNs.
- Google Play: installs, updates and basic install attribution are handled by Google Play in accordance with Google's privacy policy. The App does not integrate any analytics, crash-reporting, attribution or advertising SDK.
6. Read-only by design
PerpWatch is strictly read-only. Blockchain data is public by nature, so anyone can view wallet activity, positions and trades recorded on-chain. PerpWatch merely aggregates this public data into a single interface. The App has no ability to sign transactions and cannot access, hold, or move your funds.
7. Data security
All network requests use HTTPS / WSS encryption. The optional notification server stores only the minimal configuration described in Section 5; device secrets are stored only as salted hashes and are never transmitted in plaintext. Because no personal data is transmitted to us beyond that minimal configuration and all other preferences remain on your device, the privacy risk to you is minimal. You remain solely responsible for safeguarding your own private keys and seed phrases; never enter them into this App or any other application.
8. Children's privacy
The App is intended for users aged 18 and over and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as features change. The updated version will always be available at this URL, with the revised "Last updated" date shown above.
10. Disclaimer
PerpWatch is an independent third-party tool. It is not an official Hyperliquid product and is not endorsed by, affiliated with, or supported by Hyperliquid.
11. Contact
If you have questions about this privacy policy or about data handling in the App, please contact us at [email protected].
Hyperliquid Tax Helper
1. Overview
Hyperliquid Tax Helper ("the Extension") is a Chrome browser extension designed to query and display your trading data from the Hyperliquid platform, providing a foundation for your own tax planning. The short version: your trading data stays on your device. We do not collect any personal information, and we never touch your funds or private keys. There are two optional exceptions: (1) the optional paid upgrade sends your wallet address to our license service to check and activate your plan; (2) the optional price-alert feature sends your chat ID and alert rules to our alert backend so we can notify you — but only if you opt in and bind your account. Nothing else. No analytics, no tracking, no advertising.
2. Data we collect
We do not collect any personal information — no name, no email, no browsing history, no device identifiers, no IP-based tracking, no behavioral or analytical data. The only information ever transmitted is:
- Your wallet address — only when you use the free/paid license feature, to check and activate a license after payment.
- Your chat ID and alert rules — only if you opt in to the optional price-alert feature and bind your account, to create and deliver alerts.
Your wallet address is public, on-chain information. We use it solely as the identifier for your license tier — we do not associate it with any real-world identity, and we do not store any trading data alongside it. The Extension specifically does not collect: your name, email address or any personally identifiable information; your private keys or seed phrases (never requested, never accessible); your browsing history or visited URLs; your Hyperliquid transaction data (all of it stays locally on your device); IP address or location data; device identifiers or hardware information; any behavioral or analytical data. If you never enable the optional alert feature, that data is never collected.
3. Data stored locally on your device
The Extension uses Chrome's chrome.storage.local API to store the following data locally on your device only:
- Transaction history — fetched from the Hyperliquid API and cached for faster loading and offline access.
- Aggregated statistics — PnL and funding rate summaries per coin.
- User preferences — settings you configure within the Extension.
- License status — your current plan tier and expiry date, cached so the Extension works smoothly offline.
- Alert binding status — your bound chat ID and alert subscriptions, cached so alerts can be listed and managed in the Extension.
This data never leaves your browser. It is not transmitted to us or any third party. Uninstalling the Extension automatically deletes all stored data.
4. Permissions explained
- storage — to save transaction data, settings and license status locally using chrome.storage.local, improving loading performance and enabling offline access.
- sidePanel — to display the main interface in Chrome's side panel, with more room for transaction tables and statistics.
- api.hyperliquid.xyz and api.hyperliquid-testnet.xyz — to retrieve your trade history (userFills) and funding rates (userFunding), the sole source for PnL aggregation and fee summaries.
- License service (Cloudflare Workers) — to check your license tier for the optional paid upgrade. Only your wallet address is sent; no transaction data, no identifiers, no analytics.
- Alert backend — used only by the optional price-alert feature. No data is sent unless you enable the feature.
The Extension does not request activeTab and does not run code on pages you visit beyond the Hyperliquid app domain.
5. Third-party services
The Extension does not integrate with any third-party advertising, analytics or tracking services. It does not use Google Analytics, crash reporting services, remote configuration services, or CDN-hosted scripts loaded at runtime. Beyond Hyperliquid's official API, it interacts only with:
- Hyperliquid API — fetches your public trading data; the wallet address involved is public, on-chain information.
- Cloudflare Workers (our own license service) — looks up and activates your license tier; your wallet address only.
- NOWPayments — processes payment if you buy a license; payment details are handled entirely by NOWPayments.
- Our alert backend — stores your chat ID and alert rules and delivers price alerts, only if you enable the feature.
- The alert messaging service — pushes alert messages to your account; alert text and your chat ID only, and only if you enable alerts.
When you purchase a license, the Extension asks our server to create a payment via NOWPayments, which returns a deposit address that the Extension simply displays. You send the payment yourself from your own wallet (USDC on the Arbitrum network). The Extension never has access to your wallet, private keys, or funds, and cannot move your assets.
6. Data sharing
We do not sell, trade, rent, or share your data with anyone. The only data shared with a third party is (a) your wallet address with our license service, and (b) only if you enable the optional alert feature — your chat ID and alert rules with our alert backend and the messaging service, solely to deliver the alerts you configured. None of this is ever sold or given to advertisers or data brokers.
7. Children's privacy
The Extension is safe for users of all ages. It does not collect personal information from anyone, including children under 13.
8. Data deletion
Since all data is stored locally on your device, uninstalling the Extension automatically deletes all stored data. You can manually clear Extension data at any time through Chrome's settings, or clear the local cache with the "Force Full Refresh" button in the Extension's UI. License records (your wallet address and plan expiry) are retained on our license service only for the duration of the paid period (1 year), solely to verify your entitlement to the paid tier.
9. Compliance with Chrome Web Store policies
This Extension complies with the Chrome Web Store's Limited Use Policy: any user data handled is strictly limited to what is necessary for the Extension's disclosed purpose — retrieving your own trading data, (if you opt in) verifying your paid license tier, and (if you opt in) delivering the price alerts you configured. We handle the minimum data possible, use it only for the stated purpose, and never use it for advertising, credit scoring, or unrelated purposes.
10. Changes to this policy
If we ever change this policy, we will update the "Last Updated" date above. Any significant changes will be communicated through the Extension's update notes.
11. Contact
If you have any questions about this Privacy Policy, licensing, or refunds, please contact us at [email protected].
TL;DR
Your trading data is yours — it stays on your device. We never see it, and we never touch your funds or keys. The only things we ever receive are your wallet address (to check your license, if you buy one) and — only if you enable alerts — your chat ID and alert rules, so we can notify you. Nothing is sold or shared otherwise.
